AES-256 Encryption at Rest
Every file stored on disposal.space is encrypted with AES-256 server-side encryption on AWS S3. Your data is unreadable without the encryption keys.
TLS Encryption in Transit
All data transferred between your device and our servers is protected with TLS (Transport Layer Security). No one can intercept your files during upload or download.
SOC 2 Certified Infrastructure
Your files are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which maintains SOC 2 Type II certification. This means regular third-party audits verify our infrastructure's security controls.
Secure Authentication
Account authentication is managed by Clerk with industry-standard security practices. Multi-factor authentication is available for your account.
Secure Share Links & Embeds
Share files with secure, signed download URLs. Embed files in websites and Notion. Recipients don't need an account, and you can revoke access at any time.
No Advertising, No Tracking
We never access, read, or analyze your file content for advertising. We don't sell your data. Analytics are optional and only enabled with your consent.
AI features designed with privacy in mind.
Our AI-powered search is entirely opt-in. When enabled, your documents are processed securely with industry-leading providers who do not retain your data.
Opt-in Only
AI search is never enabled by default. You choose when to activate it and can disable it at any time from your settings.
Transient Processing
Documents are sent to Unstructured.io for text extraction and OpenAI for embeddings. Both process transiently — your content is not stored by either provider.
GDPR Compliant
OpenAI's Data Processing Agreement ensures GDPR compliance. All service providers are bound by data processing agreements.
